We’re a group dedicated to helping teens develop confidence, support systems, and mental resiliency for life’s journey.

ABOUT

Our Story

At Wide Open: Brody Hills Foundation, we’ve all felt the impact of mental health personally or through those we love. What brought us together was a shared belief: healing doesn’t always come in traditional forms.

For us, the clarity and connection we found through riding and time outdoors became powerful tools in our mental health journeys. That’s why we created this foundation, to offer others the same sense of freedom, resilience, and support.

We’re building a community rooted in adventure, solidarity, and purpose, because we’re not just riding for ourselves, we’re riding for something bigger. Join us as we create space for healing, connection, and strength one ride at a time.

Honoring Brody

Broderick "Brody" Hills was an avid dirt biker and outdoorsman, but he was known for being kind to others, and never failing to reach out and offer support to someone who needed it. Brody tragically lost his battle with mental health and left behind a community mourning the loss of a beloved friend, son, and brother.

In honor of Brody's memory and the countless lives he touched, Wide Open: Brody Hills Foundation was established. Our foundation serves as a testament to Brody's enduring legacy and his unwavering commitment to helping others. We carry his spirit with us as we embark on a mission to support individuals who, like Brody, have faced the daunting challenges of mental health.

Brody's story is one of resilience, but it's also a reminder of the importance of extending a hand to those in need. Through the foundation bearing his name, we seek to provide hope, resources, and community to individuals navigating their own mental health journeys. We understand the complexities of mental health struggles and the profound impact they can have on individuals and their loved ones. In Brody's memory, we strive to create a space where no one feels alone in their battle against mental illness.

Join us as we ride and enjoy the outdoors in Brody's honor, united in our commitment to making a difference in the lives of others and spreading awareness about the importance of mental health support.

Our Mission & Goal

To equip teens with the tools and skills needed for mental resilience, self-care, and to support others—both for the challenges they face now and those that may come in the future. Through dirt biking and outdoor adventure, we aim to create opportunities for growth, mentorship, and connection, helping young riders develop confidence, resilience, and a lifelong support system.

Our goal is that each person that interacts with Wide Open has a transformative experience and builds a community of friends, mentors, and life-long teammates that will be a support beyond the time with us.
